May 18, 2024-A Health Fair sponsored by the Virginia Conference Men of Zion of the AME Zion Church was held at Greater Walters in Newport News. Pastor Rev. Dr. Mark W. Bass is Director of the Va. Conference Men of Zion. Rev. Willie Dixon is Associate Minister. The Health Fair included representatives from Hampton YMCA Community Health, CenterWell Senior Primary Care (Dr. Anthony Hayes and Associates), Dr. Keith Newby (cardiologist), Charlie Hill (Men's Prostate Associates) and medical technologist Debra Robinson. It also featured blood pressure and other screenings, Exercise Class with Theresa Racine and nutrition discussions.
